Happy Birthday Easel Card
April is a big birthday month for me. I have several April Birthdays and I'm getting the cards ready. This is a simple HB Easel card with a spring BG patterned paper and ribbon from my stash. The image is an old Stampin' Up RS. I used the colors from the ribbon to choose the CS. The corner rounder is Fiskars. Instead of using a brad, four small rectangles of CS are glued together to secure the easel upright. This card measures 4" X 4". Easel Card directions are HERE! Thanks for stopping by. More to come!

Here is another Tea Bag Fold birthday card. I think this will go to a brother-in-law. I used green , blue and orange CS from my stash. Yes, I am still determined to use the paper I have in my stash. The inside of this card is similar to the previous post. (Below)
For the front of the card, I used a RS BG that I got at a convention in a scrap bin and matching green ink. (Sorry, no name on the RS!) Nestabilities plain and scallop square diecuts frame the tea bag fold.
The tea bag fold is four tiles downloaded and printed from the internet a long time ago. (Might be circleofcrafters.com) It is the same tea bag fold pattern as below in the previous post, "Multi-Petal Flower" fold.
My photos are not so great. The cards look much better in real life. I have to learn to do better photos! SO much to learn, but enjoying it all. More to come!
This Happy Birthday card is for a Fabulous Friend, Norma! She is a card maker and scrapbooker. She enjoys tea bag folding and so I thought she would like a tea bag fold medallion on her BD Card.
I made the Tea Bag tiles by stamping Impression Obsessions Delft Cube #4 on some rainbow colored designer paper that had no pattern. I cut out eight squares and used a standard tea bag fold pattern called "Multi-Petal Flower" from the book:"Tea bag Folding with Rubber Stamps" by Mitra Palmer Friant. (I LOVE this book!) After gluing them together, I mounted them on matching green CS and added a brad from my stash. This was layered onto a Cuttlebug embossed and inked yellow CS with rounded corners. (Happy Birthday Folder) I added a bow on top.
The inside of the card is funny and a guaranteed laugh! Both images are from Art Impressions. The "Lady" is colored with markers and a water pen. I hope Norma enjoys this card! More to come!

This is a Penny Black RS titled Easter March! It is embossed with black detail EP and colored with watercolor crayons and a water pen. The bottom image is also Penny Black and titled Easter Egg Border. I diecut three Easter Eggs from matching CS (Sizzix) and glued them together. I adhered them with a 3-D glue dot to secure the easel. There is a pink and green bow made with thread embellishing the top. The Nesties Labels Three layer the image. That is the last of the Easter cards for now! Happy Easter. More to come!
Hedgehog Easter Exchange!
I am almost finished with my Easter Cards! I like the way this simple easel card turned out. It is a typical 4" X 4" made with green and yellow CS. The image is "Easter Exchange" from Penny Black. It is colored with markers and a water pen. Nesties Labels Three diecuts were used for layering. A bow of pink and green thread embellish the top and a layered paper flower with brad, adhered on a 3-D glue dot, hold the easel in place. Cute and easy! Happy Easter! More to come!

Yes! Another Easter Card in turquoise and white. I am determined to use up some more of my paper stash! This Penny Black image is called Easter Exchange. I embossed it with black detail EP and colored with markers and a water pen. The layers are two die cuts of oval plain and scalloped Nesties. There is a crochet thread bow and four tiny Easter Eggs (DeNami Design ) for the BG. Happy Easter! More to come!
Here is a sweet and simple Easter Card using turquoise and white cardstock. The bunny image is "Sweet Bunny" from Delta Rubber Stamped and made in the USA! Nestabilities plain and scalloped ovals were diecut for the layers. I pierced the scallops. The corners are a decorative corner punch from Paper Shapers. The bunny has a tiny turquoise knot for a bow tie. Happy Easter! More to come!

This Easel Card is just plain cute if I do say so myself. I wish I could tell you where I got this image from, but I have looked high and low in my messy "Card Factory" and can't find the rubber stamp! It's a old one, and a favorite one and I sure hope it turns up! I stamped it with Memories Black Dye ink and colored with TomBow markers. It did not bleed through and I was very happy about that! It measures 4" X 4". I used Nesties large scallop ovals to die cut the bunny, Cuttlebug swiss dots embossing folder for texture and paper flowers and a brad to secure the easel. HAPPY EASTER! More to come!
This is a Tea Bag Fold Card. I printed the tiles from CircleofCrafters.com and then tried to match the CS colors. It turned out a little dull for my taste. It's a little yellow chick mounted on three layers of Spellbinders Nestabilities small scalloped ovals. The paper is from my stash. The four corner bows are from a Martha Stewart paper punch. There is a brad in the middle. Happy Easter to all. More to come!

Penny Black Easter Exchange Card
This whimsical Penny Black RS is called "Easter Exchange." I think it's charming. I embossed it with black EP and colored with watercolor markers and a water pen. This Easel Card front is created with two Nesties Large Scallop Squares with paper piercing on the scallops. There is a tiny crochet thread bow. A Sizzix Easter Egg diecut egg is mounted on a 3-D glue dot to hold the easel upright. Measures 4" X 4". More to come!
Easter Bouquet Card
This Easter Bouquet Card (RS by All Night Media) is fun to work with. I embossed the image with black EP and colored with watercolor markers and a water pen. It is a thicker line image and embosses very well. The Nesties are Labels Three and I used four sizes. Two corner punch outs from Paper Shapers decorative corner punch, frame the sentiment. I don't like the colors as much as I thought I would, but I am determined to use up my huge paper stash before buying more. More to come!

Whimsical Easter Bunny Card!
This whimsical Easter Bunny (Sarasota Stamps) makes me smile. I embossed him with black EP, masked with an oval Nestie and inked with yellow ink and a dauber to create a frame. Next I used (Rubber Stamp Tapestry) Peg Stamps to add grass and Easter Eggs. Last, I diecut with Nestie oval scallop diecuts and layered onto blue CS. I added paper flowers and green thread for the leaves on the flowers and the bow on the Bunny. Happy Easter! More to come!

This charming little bird from Repeat Impressions is a sure sign of Spring. It is an Easel Card and will stand up and brighten any room in your home. Three paper flowers with metal brads in the centers embellish the top section of the card. The image and sentiment are heat embossed with black embossing powder. I colored with watercolor pencils and a Dove Blender pen.
Here is a side view of the easel card. I love making these!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
For my very first post I want to introduce you to my dearest doggie, Bella Mia. As you can see, she is dressed for St. Patrick's Day. She is not Irish, she is a Maltese.
Bella does not like to get dressed in real life so I use a program called Paint Shop Pro to dress her on paper.
I did make a few St. Patrick's Day cards but mailed them before I photographed them. DUH!! Who knew then, that I would want to try BLOGGING!
