I purchased the images from DJ Inkers, and the music from Creative Commons.

They are printed on one side and folded into fourths.

Birthday and Get Well Cards...CAS...Watercolor and Colored Pencil

 

 

 

 

 

These clean and simple cards were created using Stampin' Up images, Crayola watercolor, and Crayola colored pencils.  I still have a lot to learn about water coloring and coloring in general, but it's a lot of fun and very relaxing. I prefer coloring small images rather than the larger coloring books.

Happy Easter! CAS Clean and Simple Cards

Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter!

Here are four clean and simple Easter cards. 

The bird is Tim Holtz, and the bunny ears are Stampin' Up.  The large five  bunny image is from Penny Black 2002, "bunny friends" number 1927K. The sentiments are from Sarasota stamps, and the image on the envelope is from Stampin' Up. These are all very old rubber stamps and may be retired. I'm practicing my coloring with colored pencils and still working on water coloring.

These Birthday Cards were created using many of my "OLDIES." They are CAS, Clean and Simple.

(Spellbinders pierce, cut and emboss dies, Birthday embossing folder, an old acrylic set of Birthday stamps, Stamping' Up paper punches for the hanging tags, craft thread for the little bows, colored pencils, copic markers, etc.)

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas!

 

The bird image is from Bird Crazy, Tim Holtz, the sentiment stamp is from Seaside Stampin' Ink 2003, and the music notes paper punch is from EK. The inks used are Memento Tuxedo Black for the bird and hat, Riding Hood Red 2008, for the sentiment, and the paper is Stampin' Up Riding Hood Red. I colored the bird and hat with alcohol markers from Spectrum Noir. The hat image is Sarasota Stamps 2004. The hat was cut out and I inked the edges with a black Sharpie and then adhered with a glue dot. Yes, I am using up my oldies!

Iris Folding , Clean and Simple Cards, CAS

Here are two Iris Fold cards I made using a kit I bought from "3 Birds Studio" during a TV craft sale.  I am more than satisfied with the kit and can make a lot of Iris Fold cards with the materials included in the kit. The directions are easy to follow.

 

 

This Get Well Card features an old favorite image from Sparkle and Sprinkle, located here in Florida.  It is colored with plain old Crayola colored pencils. CAS Clean and Simple!

"Hooray For You" CAS Card

 

Here is a CAS (clean and simple) card that can be used for many occasions.

The Stampin' Up image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on watercolor paper, and then watercolored. Layers from my scrap drawer.

St. Patrick's Card, Valentine's Day Card with Crazy Birds...CAS

Here are a few clean and simple cards I made recently. 

Several of the images are from Tim Holtz Bird Crazy stamps.

They are fun to color and whimsical.

I added my own hat to this one and an old leprechaun stamp.
