150 HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARDS COMPLETED!
Here are the last of the 150 Happy Birthday Cards with a sport theme! I had set this as a goal for the Foster Kids in my county. It took a while and I am satisfied that I completed this task. I have to decide what cards I want to work on next. We have an ongoing request for Birthday, Graduation, Adoption, Valentine and Christmas Cards. After all of the sporty cards, I think I would like to make something girly. But, FIRST, I must clean my studio. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day! More to come!

RECYCLED NEWSPAPER AD CARD
I was going to run errands this morning but it was raining with thunder and lightning so I shut down the computer and went into the studio to PLAY! I had a leftover advertisement from Sunday's Tampa Tribune featuring Disney. It looked like designer paper to me so I used my square paper punch and punched out several squares and thought, "What Now?"
I used four squares for a tea bag fold medallion. Then I made a "Z Fold" card base (Z Fold Directions here!) and used Labels Five Nesties for layering under the medallion. I cut more of the advertisement and used it as DP BG layers for the inside and for the back. Ha! It needed more, so I punched out corners, added a favorite sentiment from SparkleNSprinkle, a brad and a bow made from blue string. It's cute enough! Thanks for stopping by!

SPORTY BIRTHDAY CARDS
This weekend I completed twenty of these Happy Birthday Cards with a SPORTY theme for the Foster Kids in my county. They will be added to the "Giving Tree" and hopefully kind folks will choose a card, add a personal note and buy a gift or donate money towards a gift for that child. So far, so GOOD! I have thirty more birthday cards to finish for this project. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a terrific week!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TEA BAG FOLD CARD
This embossing folder from Cuttlebug is really nice. I have had it for a while and have been wanting to use it. It is blank on the bottom right corner so I added a tea bag fold medallion using tiles that I printed free from http://paperprintables.com. PaperPrintables is one terrific site. BTW, they now have free digital images there and Nunu is one gal (free digital image) you want to meet! I have plans for her! Back to the card, I added a burgandy ribbon bow and a pink flower brad in the center of the medallion. Thanks for stopping by! Have a marvelous Monday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEDALLION CARD!
These colors are so popular right now! I never would have tried turquoise and lime green together, on my own, but I have been inspired by others' cards and jewelry! The embossing powder, sentiment and medallion image are from Sparklensprinkle. I used Nesties to diecut the medallion and layers. There is an orange thread bow on the top right and a Fiskars border punch trim on the bottom. Thanks for stopping by! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Happy Birthday Medallion Card
Here is a birthday card featuring a medallion and sentiment from Sparklensprinkle. I used cuttlebug embossing folders for texture on most of the layers. The layers are punched from Marvy Uchida punches. I added a brad in the middle and a string bow near the top. One layer is adhered with foam squares. Everything is from my stash. I am trying to use what I have, rather than shop! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday Tea Bag Fold Card
This Happy Birthday card features a teabag fold on the inside with a window punched out on the front of the card. I created the teabag fold using white craft ink from Stampin Up on red copy paper. I let it dry overnight and then used the multi petal flower pattern to fold four squares and adhere them to blue CS. The RS image is from Magenta. The Happy Birthday punch is from Martha Stewart as well as the balloon punch. The diamond border punch is an old Fiskars border punch. The ribbon is from my stash. A bit of twine string was added to the balloons. Thanks for stopping by!
