Teabag Fold and Gate Fold Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card with a
teabag fold embellishment
on top of a gatefold card

The teabag fold was created by stamping a symmetrical, square rubber stamp (impression obsession) four times on pink copy paper. The sentiment is an acrylic stamp from Michael's. The scalloped rectangle paper punch is from Marvy. The happy birthday paper punch is from Martha Stewart. The front panels are pink copy paper embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. The bow is doubled craft thread.

More to come!

Clean and Simple Anniversary and Birthday Cards and Pho.To.Lab Enhancements For Fun!

It is no secret that I love to learn new things!
You may have noticed that I have not been spending very much time making cards, since I purchased my iPad. I am amazed and fascinated by all the things that this tablet will do. For very little money I have purchased several apps and I am enjoying learning all that they can do.

Recently I bought Pho.To.Lab for about $3.00. I have been playing with it with pictures, portraits and faces, but I thought I would try it on some clean and simple cards that I made for anniversaries and birthdays coming up soon. Below you will see the original card and underneath that, you will find the same card with a background added. Of course this isn't for everyone, but I'm just learning something new and having fun with it.

One of my goals with this iPad, is to have it replace all the things that my tired old laptop does. So far, so good.

Wishing everyone a very Healthy Happy New Year! All the best in 2015!
