BIG MAMA...You're No Longer A Spring Chick!

These rubber stamps from Art Impressions are among my favorites. This image has attitude and I always enjoy sending her off to someone with a great sense of humor.
The first picture shows her with a "Tab" pulled up to reveal the sentiment. A small purple brad allows the sentiment to remain hidden until the pink arrow is pulled up. You will have to play around with measurements to "hide" the sentiment underneath the main image.
Here you see the pink arrow "tab" directing the recipient to pull out the hidden message. This is how the card looks when it comes out of the envelope.

Again, once the pink arrow is pulled up, the message is revealed.

This is inside the card. This image is from Inky Antics. ("Hi Chickie" as well.)

Here is a closer look. This is a whimsical card and hopefully will bring a smile to a friend.

You have got to love this little Bunny from Stampin Up. He is embossed with brown ink and Clear Detail Embossing Powder from SparkleNSprinkle. The diecut layers and flower are Nestabilities. I colored him with watercolor pencils and a water pen. Happy Easter. We are warming up here in FL.

Hedgehog Easter Exchange!

I am almost finished with my Easter Cards! I like the way this simple easel card turned out. It is a typical 4" X 4" made with green and yellow CS. The image is "Easter Exchange" from Penny Black. It is colored with markers and a water pen. Nesties Labels Three diecuts were used for layering. A bow of pink and green thread embellish the top and a layered paper flower with brad, adhered on a 3-D glue dot, hold the easel in place. Cute and easy! Happy Easter! More to come!

Yes! Another Easter Card in turquoise and white. I am determined to use up some more of my paper stash! This Penny Black image is called Easter Exchange. I embossed it with black detail EP and colored with markers and a water pen. The layers are two die cuts of oval plain and scalloped Nesties. There is a crochet thread bow and four tiny Easter Eggs (DeNami Design ) for the BG. Happy Easter! More to come!
Here is a sweet and simple Easter Card using turquoise and white cardstock. The bunny image is "Sweet Bunny" from Delta Rubber Stamped and made in the USA! Nestabilities plain and scalloped ovals were diecut for the layers. I pierced the scallops. The corners are a decorative corner punch from Paper Shapers. The bunny has a tiny turquoise knot for a bow tie. Happy Easter! More to come!

Easter Bouquet Card

This Easter Bouquet Card (RS by All Night Media) is fun to work with. I embossed the image with black EP and colored with watercolor markers and a water pen. It is a thicker line image and embosses very well. The Nesties are Labels Three and I used four sizes. Two corner punch outs from Paper Shapers decorative corner punch, frame the sentiment. I don't like the colors as much as I thought I would, but I am determined to use up my huge paper stash before buying more. More to come!
